Myxer® allows artists and content owners to share any original content - ringtones, images, photos, videos – with mobile users. It’s completely free if you intend to give away your content and there are no setup fees or contracts. There is a fee structure if you want to charge for ringtones, etc. The site/service provides online tools to easily make ringtones and wallpapers that are compatible with just about any modern mobile phone. The site also highlights certain musicians and ringtones, allowing your music to get exposed to a broader audience than just your fan base.

So far I have found this to be the easiest ringtone service to use. I had ringtones from my band on my verizon phone in about 15 minutes, start to finish.

Note there is one comment on this site about compatibility issues with iPhone.

    Travis’s Tip:
It’s no doubt that MyxerIndies are aware of the benefits of using Custom MyxerCodes on their online banners and MySpace pages, but many do not realize MyxerCodes can also be added to printed promotional items. This in turn allows fans to download your ringtones from their mobile phones while on the run. Need an idea? Try placing the MyxerCode of your title track on the back of your album to offer it as a free ringtone. Why not place a MyxerCode on a flyer to let potential fans download a ringtone to hear you before they see you in a live show? There are unlimited uses for your MyxerCodes. So be creative and start marketing your ringtones everywhere.
