Stickam.com is the first and largest interactive live streaming video site and provides a tool for indie artists who want the potential to reach stadium-sized crowds right from their living rooms, studios, rehearsal spaces, local clubs, or pretty much anywhere else. It’s easy to broadcast live to the entire world. All a band needs is a Webcam (or miniDV cam with Firewire connections) and access to the Internet. Artists like Underoath, Street Drum Corps, I Am Ghost, The Mae Shi, Everclear and many others have used Stickam to stream live shows, broadcast live recording sessions from their studios, hold online listening parties, and more, all while fans simultaneously chat with the band or themselves.
In addition to streaming live on Stickam.com, bands can embed their Stickam player onto their on Web sites, social networking sites and blogs, among other online locations. The player also has a built-in chat room and allows recorded sessions to be played back at a later time. As current trends go, this is possibly the next step in fan interactive technology.

Stickam is an amazing tool for musicians, and it is really easy to get set up and running in a matter of minutes. Here are the basic steps to follow:
1. Go to Stickam.com and sign up for a free account.
2. Connect a webcam (or a miniDV cam with Firewire connections), then launch your browser, log in, and press “Go live.”
3.If you’d like, connect your computer or camera to your sound board for a direct audio feed (strictly optional).
4. Choose the Stickam player you’d like from a variety of styles and grab the embed code for it. You can embed your Stickam player on your homepage, blog or anywhere else you’d like. Every time you go live, you will stream live not only from your Stickam profile, but also directly from wherever you have embedded your player. When you’re not live, your player can be set to play back your previously recorded videos or to display a slide show of your photos.
